Britt Dekker tells De Hoefslag that she is working on a third equestrian feature film. The rider made her Light Tour debut last weekend with her grey stallion George, who also had the lead role twice in her previous feature films. Britt reveals that her Friesian stallion Johnny will take the lead role in the third film. "We are already very far along with the script and hope to start filming this coming summer," she says.

Whitestar and Silverstar
In 2019, she released the film Whitestar, in which she played the lead role as Megan. Her second film, Silverstar, came out in 2022 and was viewed more than 100,000 times. In both films, Britt’s horse George played the lead role. In the third film, the lead role is reserved for the Friesian stallion Johnny. ‘Love at first sight’

For Britt, it was love at first sight when she saw Johnny for the first time. She bought the black pearl in July 2022, and in October, the Friesian walked his first show at Indoor Friesland. In May of this year, the combination made their competition debut in the Z1 class. This winter, Britt and Johnny were selected for the regional championships in the Z1 class with 72%.

Britt Dekker: “Johnny TKJ krijgt de hoofdrol in onze derde bioscoopfilm”

Britt Dekker laat aan De Hoefslag weten dat ze werkt aan een derde paarden bioscoopfilm. De amazone maakte afgelopen weekend haar Lichte Tour-debuut met haar schimmelhengst George, die ook twee keer de hoofdrol had in haar vorige bioscoopfilms. Britt laat weten dat in de derde film haar Friese hengst Johnny de hoofdrol krijgt. "We zijn al heel ver met het script en hopen aankomende zomer te gaan filmen", vertelt ze. 

Whitestar en Silverstar

In 2019 bracht ze de film Whitestar uit waarin ze de hoofdrol als Megan speelde. Haar tweede film, Silverstar, kwam in 2022 en werd meer dan 100.00 keer bekeken. In beide films speelde Britt’s paard George de hoofdrol. In de derde film is de hoofdrel weggelegd voor de Friese hengst Johnny. 

‘Liefde op het eerste gezicht’

Voor Britt was het liefde op het eerste gezicht toen ze Johnny voor het eerst zag. Ze kocht de zwarte parel in juli 2022 en in oktober liep de Fries zijn eerste show op Indoor Friesland. In mei dit jaar maakte de combinatie hun wedstrijddebuut in de klasse Z1. Britt en Johnny zijn deze winter geselecteerd voor de regiokampioenschappen in de klasse Z1 met 72%.
